Online surveys have been around for as long as I can remember. The day after I quit my job I went online to search for ways to make money from home. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do and to tell you the truth, I wasn’t sure what I was looking for.
I found a work-from-home website called Money Making Mommy and there were tons of ideas to make money from home. There was an article on there that talked about getting paid for doing online surveys. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure if this was going to work out or not but I needed to make money quick. I went online to do a search for paid online surveys and found there were lot of survey sites available. Some paid cash and others paid via reward points you can redeem for cash and other prizes.
The first survey site I signed up to was Inbox Dollars. I still had my reservations about it because I wasn’t sure if this was legit or not but after receiving my first payout I realized it was the real deal. From that point on, online surveys had become one of the ways I made money from home.
A couple of years ago I wrote a guest post for my friend Bren’s blog My Girly Parts about the ways I make money from home. I was asked by one of her readeres where I could find online surveys. I decided to put a list of legit paid online survey sites in case you, dear reader, are in need to make fast money.
So without further ado, here is the ultimate online survey list for U.S. and Canada residents.

The Different Ways Online Surveys Pay
Not all online surveys pay the same. You can be paid:
- Via check or direct deposit
- Earn points to redeem for gift cards and other prizes
Things to Remember
Here are a couple of things to remember before you start taking surveys.
- Avoid signing up to survey sites that ask for a membership fee. Chances are those sites are not legit.
- If you’re going to be doing online surveys, it’s a good idea to keep track of the surveys you take and when you’re paid for them. Create a template to keep track of the surveys you complete, how much you earned and when you get paid.
