If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you know not only am I about making money from home but I also love to shop and find great deals.
It’s been a while since I’ve talked about saving money with you but I’m going to make it up to you today!
I prefer to do my shopping online. For one, I don’t have to deal with the crowds not to mention deal with the traffic and mad drivers on the road to get to the store. No thanks, give me online shopping any day!
While I was shopping online, I came across the website Giving Assistant – let me tell you about them.
Giving Assistant is a free digital loyalty program site that pays you either by mailed check or Paypal – an average of 5% commission from purchases made through their website.
And you can find just about every store imaginable like my favorite store in the world Target to high end stores like Coach.
Now let me tell you why I’m really digging this site.
You’re probably thinking Giving Assistant is just like the other cash back sites – but I’m here to tell you, they’re not. For one thing, you get 100% of the commission versus the 50% you get with the other cash back sites.
And…you don’t have to wait months for your payment – when you shop on Giving Assistant, you’re paid within days directly to your secure debit card…and minimum payout is only $5.01.
Here’s a copy of the email I received confirming my payout from an order I placed on June 22nd.
Notice the date of the email. I’ll tell you more about the order process in a bit. But first, let me tell you what I really like about this site.
What make them stand out is whenever cash back is earned, a small donation is made to Feeding America to give one meal. Plus, members are given the option to automatically donate any % of their cash back to any charity of their choice…everyone wins!
Check out how easy it is to earn cash back.
After you create your account with either your Facebook profile or email address, you’re immediately given access to their deals – we’re talking over 1,600 retailers like Staples and Target…two of my favorite stores.
But before you begin shopping, click on ‘my account’ at the top and update your settings like select a charity to donate to and how you want to be paid. Just a tip – you get paid weekly when you’re paid through Paypal.
Anyway, from your dashboard you can see your earnings, track your cashback clicks and referrals – which I’ll get to later in this post.
Now you’re ready to shop away!
There are over 1,600 stores so finding one shouldn’t be a problem. Like I mentioned at the beginning of the post, I was planning on going to Barnes & Noble to pick up a new Stephen King book so I decided to make my purchase through Giving Assistant.
The process was too easy. All you have to do is select and click the store you want to shop at. When you do, you’ll be taken to their offers. Click on the code you want to use and a new window will appear so you can copy the code and click the store’s link to start shopping.
Proceed like you normally do and don’t forget to add the code for the extra discount at checkout. That’s it!
Earn Extra Money through Referrals
That’s right. You can also earn extra money by referring your family and friends. It shouldn’t be too hard to do. I mean, who doesn’t want to save money and earn money at the same time?
And as you can see from the screenshot, there is no limit to the amount of cash you can earn. That’s awesome, right?
