I have tried redecorating my virtual office here at home so every time I wake up in the morning and start working I know that I can be motivated enough to work and not be too lazy about it because I know I work from home. Thank you for sharing this!

  3. I’m on the hunt for a new/better chair for my home office right now, but reading this has me considering adding some color to the room as well. At the moment it’s a pretty boring space with standard off-white walls, which is silly because one of the best things about working from home is that nothing about my workspace has to be standard.

    • Hi Loretta, exactly! I feel your home office should reflect yourself, feel free to add some color, as I am always up for color! Luckily, there are productivity hacks that help a little, so use them at your favor!

    Great tips for creating a great work environment. I’ve recently purchased a new computer because my old one crashed. I decided to redo my office space. I went ahead and invested in a standing desk.

    Since getting my standing desk, my productivity has shot up. Now I just need to add some pastel colors and plants to my work space.

  6. Absolutely agree! I noticed once I started adding pastel colors (pink and teal) to my office, I became more productive. Then I added some shelves and a few other aesthetics and boing! 😉 Lighting can also be a great idea. I love the natural light from outside peering through my window. Plus it allows me to keep my left eye on my pups outside. 🙂

      Ohuh! Be careful, working from a couch will not only affect your productivity but your health. Take care of your back. But specially, have in mind that having a small space you can call your own will prove a long wayyyy! I promise! You can include your favorite colors, scents and even music.
