2015 was all about growing your blog. Create awesome content, check. Connect with your visitors, check. Engage on your blog and social media, check, check.
You executed your plan and worked hard on the steps to get noticed by influencer networks and brands. Now you’re ready to take your blog to the next level and monetize that baby!
Back in October I shared a post about sponsored content as a way to monetize a blog and it included a list of networks you can sign up to for your chance at getting paid for a sponsored post.
Since there are a number of networks to sign up to, I thought it would be a good idea to break them down individually. This is the first post of a new series in which I’ll share the different networks and platforms there are and tell you a little about them, how they work as well as share my experience with the ones I’ve partnered with.
I’m not being paid to review these sites nor was I asked to do so. I’m doing this for you, dear reader, in hopes this will make it easier for you to choose which networks are for perfect for you instead of taking time out of your schedule to research all of them. Hey, one less thing to do, right? Are you ready? Let’s go.
I’m going to kick it off with Cooperatize.
Cooperatize is a marketplace that connects brands with publishers for sponsored content. When you create your account, complete your profile and set your post rate, brands are able to quickly determine if you’re a good fit for their campaign. If you are, you’re notified via email to check your dashboard for campaign details and deadline.
When you do apply for a campaign, bids are submitted along with an example of a proposed headline and an estimate of how many page views your blog post can get for the duration of the campaign.
When you’re accepted for a campaign, drafts are submitted to the brand for review. The brand makes any changes and resubmits to you for posting. And, the brand will also share your post through their channels sending even more traffic to your blog!
After your article is published, you submit your links and check the dashboard for traffic details. It’s that easy!
I recently had the pleasure of working with a brand to do a post about their website. You may have read it. It’s the one about Online Logo Maker.
Unlike most networks that pays you when the campaign ends, which in some cases can take as long as a month. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but like the commercial says “it’s my money and I want it now,” hehe!
What was different about the Cooperatize process is that not only do you see real time results to keep track of how your post is doing but you get paid as soon as you meet your goal. For me, my payment was immediately available to withdraw as soon as I met my goal. That was a sweet surprise!
Ready to Sign Up?
If your goal is to monetize your blog, Cooperatize should be on your list of sites to join. If you’re ready to sign up for a chance at getting sponsored content, all you need to go is to go the Cooperatize website, create your free account and complete your profile.
Over To You
Will you be joining Cooperatize? Have you worked with Cooperatize before? If so, I’d appreciate it if you’d share your experience with us in the comments section below.
Do you know anyone who wants to monetize their blog? Share this post with them so they too can join this awesome marketplace!
Here’s to many money making opportunities for you! Good luck!
