  1. A good article and The click to tweet going to put on my sight . I hope it makes a difference and it will help to make it easier for others to share on that platform, too.
    Thanks.

  2. Hey Jen,

I can understand where you’re coming from when you didn’t feel up to life anymore. But one thing about blogging is that you feel useful. Especially when you’re able to put out the information that people love and implement. When you get those testimonials of how you helped them then it gives you a sense of pride and usefulness.

Thanks for sharing! Have a good one!

  3. Hi Jen!
Blogging can be very therapeutic at times. I was also diagnosed with hyperthyroidism before I even was 20 years old and it was so bad. My heart would race, my hands would shake, I was hungry all the time. I didn’t address it for a long long time, but then I started having vision problems (being unable to focus my eyes on anything basically) and I finally took a doctor appointment. Those medicines make a world of difference. Unfortunately I didn’t have a very good doctor and was somewhat overtreated when I probably took large doses of medicines for too long and my hyperthyroidism became “hypo”, just like yours. That was hard too. I finally treated that with holistic medicine and am fine now, I am already 38. But I do realize it could come back anytime because of the nature of this illness and also I am getting older now. So yes, I do understand exactly how you must have felt.

Back to blogging, yes it is amazing. It can help you vent your feelings, share your ideas, meet new people and can become a business too. Good luck with your new blog!

  4. Jen, I love this! I recently launched my blog. I am a new mom and my goal is to share my real struggles so other new moms know they are not alone with theres.
    Thank you for your inspiration!

  6. Totally understand. I’m a recent blogger myself, and decided to start to help others going through the same issues I was. Great post!

  7. I totally understand how you feel. Big changes plus hormones off balance… that is awful. I’ve been there and I know what it can do to you and your health. I’m so glad you figured that out.
Personally I’m studying biology, I want to be a biologist but now I’m trying to follow another dream of mine that is… yes, you guessed it: blogging. I’ve been wanting to become a blogger for several years now, and this year was my “shut up and just do it” year. So now I’m trying to do it.
