Where To Find Opportunities To Work With Your Favorite Brands

  1. Hi Cori,
I haven’t heard of Linqia but it sure sounds interesting.
Having a community is first and foremost when we start blogging and still now as a seasoned blogger I do belong to one on Facebook.
I have my own, but we all have to grow don’t we? I like how you mentioned having Yoast because if it wasn’t for that plugin, I would be in space somewhere and my content would’t be seen.
Indeed, reply to your comments, comment on other blogs and be there on Social media with a good plan.
Awesome girl… I’m off to check out Linqia

    • Hi Donna,

I hope you’ve had a chance to check out Linqia. They’ve partnered with some great brands. 🙂

Now that you mention it, I do remember when you rolled out with your own affiliate program. I hope I can get there one day!:)

      That’s right – we’ve got to keep working our plan. Can’t stop – won’t stop! 😉

Thanks for your comment Donna! Have a great rest of the week!

  2. Hi Cori. I’m Jonah from Thanks for introducing us 🙂 It’s great to hear that you find our service useful!

    • Hi Jonah!

Thanks for leaving a comment. I really appreicate that! Oh yeah, Hashtagify is very helpful in discovering trending hashtags out in the socialverse. 🙂

Have a great rest of the week!

  3. HI Cori, you are so right, learn first and opportunities will follow you. My best opportunities came from folks that sought me out. They wanted me to promote this or that in social media or at my blog.
You have to be seen out there and seen again to be recognized. Then it happens!
Staying on topic most of the time helps too. You have to really hone in your niche.
It’s amazing how different brands and companies look for different influencers to promote their products or services.
Thanks for the tips Cori and have a wonderful 4th of July!

    • Hi Lisa,

Thanks for that great advice! It’s a great feeling when people seek you out to promote their products – it’s a sign that we’re doing something right. 🙂

I’ve had a few offers unfortunately, most of them were outside of my niche so I had to pass (by the way, that guy never emailed me back 🙂 ).

I’m sure anyone who reads this comment might wonder how I passed on the money but that’s not my reason for blogging so it’s not a hard decision to make. 🙂

I hope you get more offers your way Lisa and wish you most continued success!

Thanks for coming by to read my post and for your valuable comment!

  4. Hi Cori,

Glad to see that you’ve finally built your community, I can see why. You provide some awesome content that will help people learn how to work from home.

Personally, I haven’t started working with brands. Eventually, I may. However, like you said, I am working on building up my blog first. Like you said, that should be one’s focus when they are brand new.

Once I do start working with brands, you can be sure that I’ll take a look at Linqia. I am sure that I’ll also learn a lot more just by reading your blog.

Thanks for sharing these tips and so glad to hear that everything is working out for you.

Have a great Fourth of July 🙂

    • Aw, thank you for your kind words Susan. 🙂

Sometimes we need some validation like that – I’m always wondering whether I’m making a difference. 🙂

I think you’re on the right track – focus on blog growth first – the opportunities will follow and who knows, you might end up like Lisa and have people contact you to work with their brand. Heck, I’m still working on my blog growth. 😉

That’s great Susan – I hope you do get a chance to look them up. They work with a lot of great brands we all use or have used.

Good luck to you Susan! Happy Wednesday!

  5. Hi Cori,
I like that you are working with relevant brands through this fab network. Being aligned is a biggie. Both in landing work and in finding the right match for your readers. I also dig that you share tips for building a community because many advertisers want to spread their word in front of loyal, engaged, inspired communities run by skilled, experienced pro bloggers.
    Thanks for sharing 🙂

  6. Hey Cori,

    Interesting post.

Never heard of that company. But I would be willing to try it out on one of my other sites. Only problem is with my other site, I’ll need to get 2500 followers on it first.

Have a great day and upcoming 4th of July.
    – Andrew

    • Hi Andrew,

You should check them out! Remember it’s a combined 2500 on social media or 2500 pageviews. I’d love for you to follow up to tell me how it went!

Thanks for reading this post and for your comment!

      Have a great week!

  7. Hi Cori,

    Happy Monday 🙂

Informative post! I hadn’t heard of Linqia earlier, and they sound quite interesting, except that to qualify as a Linqia Influencer, I need to migrate to the US or Canada! Nevertheless, I’d surely check it out.

I agree about Hootesuite and Yoast, as I use them both myself, and they are both highly recommended as well.

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead, and Happy 4th of July for tomorrow. 🙂

    • Hi Harleena!

If you come to the U.S. move to Houston so we can meet! 🙂

Here’s hoping one day they’ll extend their program across the pond! Thanks for coming by to read my post and for your comment!

Have a great week ahead my dear!
